This statement explains how we handle personal data when you visit otk-precisionstrips.com, send us an enquiry or do business with us.

Who is responsible

OTK Precision Strips is a trade name of OTK Stainless Steel B.V., Van Oldenbarneveldtstraat 95, 1052 JZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 98648675. What we process and why

• Enquiries and correspondence. When you use the contact form or e-mail us, we process your name, company, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message, to answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and handle orders. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
• Customers and suppliers. Contact details and order data that we need to quote, deliver and invoice, and to meet our legal obligations such as keeping tax records. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
• Website statistics. Only with your consent, we use statistics tools (Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats) to see how the website is used. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.
• Security and operation. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and protect the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website.

Cookies

The website uses functional cookies that it needs to work, and statistics cookies only after you consent. Our Cookie Policy lists them.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only where this is needed: with our hosting and IT service providers; with Google and Automattic (Jetpack) if you consent to statistics; with transport companies and other service providers when they are needed to deliver an order; and with authorities where the law requires it. Service providers process the data on our instructions. If data are transferred outside the European Economic Area, for example to Google in the United States, this is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiries and correspondence as long as needed to answer them and for the business relationship that follows. Records that we must keep by law, such as invoices and accounting records, are kept for the statutory period.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict the processing or object to it, and ask for data portability. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@otk-precisionstrips.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
